I'm BehemothCipher — field engineer, builder, and the person behind CipherBuilds. Ten years maintaining systems where downtime isn't an option taught me one thing: most tools aren't built by people who've actually had to use them under pressure. So I started building my own.
I spent a decade as a field engineer maintaining ATM networks and cash machine infrastructure across the region. These are systems where a missed alert costs money by the minute, where security isn't a checkbox — it's the whole job. You learn fast what matters and what doesn't.
The problem was the tools. Most Windows diagnostic and monitoring software is built by developers who've never had to diagnose a machine at 2am in a parking lot. The interfaces are bloated, the licensing is predatory, and half the features you actually need are buried or missing entirely.
I got tired of not finding what I needed, so I built my own.
